It's a Pod + Shirley the Pop-Up Collaboration: Pre-Order

Who? Kat Bayle is Shirley the Pop-Up. She's bringing you the good stuff and its story. Sourcing primarily from New England. Born in Massachusetts and raised in the kitchens of SF and the EU. The namesake, is Kat's grandmother. Her culinary repertoire far exceeds this picnic themed event so keep her on your radar.

Why? She asked. Her enthusiasm and skill are compelling. Pod goes well with food and my gut just said 'trust this one'. My gut is very particular. 

What? It's a picnic kit ( only 20 ) that features delightful snacking treats to enjoy in the park or at your kitchen table with a few helpful tools from us that can also be used on your future picnic journeys. Each kit is $70 and will include the following: Bell and Goose Camembert cheese, a tiny olive wood fork, tinned smoke trout conservas, a glass (re-usable) jar of golden farm beet pickles with ginger & turmeric spices by Shirley, a tiny olive wood spreader, naturally leavened rye bread by Shirley, a petite mango wood cutting board, and a Fog Linen Work serving tray. (assorted colors, chefs choice) 
There are a few add-on's if you need a little sweet: Chocolate wine cookies by Shirley. They're made with a technique traditional to southern Italy and Greece where wine and oil flow, but dairy cows do not abound. Olive oil gives the cookies a richness while the wine aids in the rise and imparts its own unique notes. 

And then there are a couple of our favorite Kolsvart candies to choose from. They're sweet, salty, Swedish, and all natural. All in the drop down menu below.

When? Order deadline is April 18th. Pickup at Pod Thursday, April 22 between 4-6pm.
