A gorgeous hand-embroidered skirt in featherweight hand-loom silk. Features a drawstring/elasticized waist with pull ties at each side of the waist. There is an amazing red contrast stitching on the ties and among the floral band at the front. Unlined. Perfect for a hot summer day. Model is 5'9" and wears size S.
Runaway Bicycle was founded by Preeti Verma in 2014. Design and production links the skills of traditional weavers, dyers, and embroiderers spread all across India with those of the craftsmen working out of the studio in Mumbai. The collective skills they bring is an accumulation of knowledge passed down through many generations. Runaway Bicycle celebrates craft and comfort over form.
