Pleated, handloom silk skirt with digitally printed with a colorful 'birds of paradise' theme. Like all their fabrics, this pattern is original to R.B. Super lightweight, a little sheer. Has on-seam pockets at the sides and an interior drawstring at the waistband. There is about an inch or two give in the elasticized waist. Note measurements below. A timeless piece that you'll have for years. Just gorgeous.
Runaway Bicycle was founded by Preeti Verma in 2014. Design and production links the skills of traditional weavers, dyers, and embroiderers spread all across India with those of the craftsmen working out of the studio in Mumbai. The collective skills they bring is an accumulation of knowledge passed down through many generations. Runaway Bicycle celebrates craft and comfort over form.
