Stunning hand-loom silk dress featuring RB's original Blue Pond digitally printed illustration. Cloth covered buttons at front of torso and at sleeve cuffs. The skirt has wide pleating with ties at each side of the waist-one length is drawstring so you can alter the silhouette. On-seam pockets at the sides. Beautiful and light drape.
Runaway Bicycle was founded by Preeti Verma in 2014. Design and production links the skills of traditional weavers, dyers, and embroiderers spread all across India with those of the craftsmen working out of the studio in Mumbai. The collective skills they bring is an accumulation of knowledge passed down through many generations. Runaway Bicycle celebrates craft and comfort over form.
