Koo Bohnchang: Soap
$32.00
Koo Bohnchang, is one of Korea's leading contemporary photographers. He deals with the passage of time and captures quiet, fragile moments. Here, in SOAP, we find his collection of "used soaps" that he gathered over the years. SOAP is a re-publishing of his 2007 original publication, Everyday Treasures which is now out of print.
This body of work has been shown in Seoul, Paris, Tokyo, and Vienna. In his words: "The reason why I cannot ignore the soap is probably due to the mark of time engraved on every such object that is losing its body". SOAP is peaceful and meditative. Each copy is signed.
