Erin Louise Clancy Candle Holder

We've long admired the ceramic work of Queens-based artist Erin Louise Clancy. Over the years we've carried a few of her pieces, mostly drawn to the work heavily incised with stripes, dashes, meandering lines, and layered glazes.

While there seems to be an endless supply of candle holders out in the world, there really aren't many that we like, or, would like to carry in the shop. We asked Erin if she'd like to help out and we're so glad that we did. The group we're offering here is special to Pod. It's a limited collection of one-of's. Truly, each holder, short or tall is unique and reveals its own story or dreamlike journey. A standard taper candle will fit.

Erin Louise Clancy is a one-person studio, making everything by hand in Queens, New York. She focuses on wheel-thrown ceramics that range from limited edition collections to restaurant tableware. She has worked as a professional artist for over twenty years, creating work for commercial commissions, private collections, and exhibitions.
